Effectiveness of “Innovation in Transactional Analysis” on Improvement of Marital Satisfaction in Married Women of Isfahan City

Introduction: Marital satisfaction is one of the most fundamental issues in every family, one of the predictors of marital satisfaction is the quality of mutual relationships between couples. The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of "Innovation in Transactional Analysis" on marital satisfaction in married women of Isfahan city.
Methods: The present research is semi-experimental in the form of pre-test, training and post-test, and the control group was the statistical population of married women in Isfahan city, and for this purpose, for the sample and control groups, there were 60 married women from 2 regions of Isfahan city. who had referred to the municipal culture centers for interpersonal relationship training were randomly selected by stratification. Data collection instruments including demographic questionnaire and "ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Scale" was used. The validity of the instruments was determined using confirmatory factor analysis and reliability using the internal consistency method with the calculation of Cronbach's alpha coefficient and the Pearson correlation coefficient method. After the pre-test, 30 people in the intervention group were trained for 7 weeks. Data were analyzed by SPSS. 27.
Results: Comparing the results of the pre-test with the results of the post-test and the control group showed a significant difference between the groups at the level (P<0.01). 
Conclusion: “Innovation in Transactional Analysis” is effective in improving marital satisfaction in married women of Isfahan city. It is suggested to use the above method in family education
