The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between strategic thinking and management levels in East Guilan public hospitals. Methods: This research is a descriptive-correlation study. The sample included 119 senior managers, middle managers and executives of public hospitals in East Guilan. “Strategic Thinking Questionnaire” with 40 questions in 5 dimensions was used. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by "content validity index" and "content validity ratio" and reliability through Cronbach's alpha in the present study. Data were analyzed using SPSS. 21. Results: The component of strategic thinking showed that there is a significant difference between the mean of this component and the number 3 and therefore strategic thinking is appropriate for managers. According to the results, there was a significant difference between the managerial level in terms of managers 'strategic thinking so that senior managers' strategic thinking was more than middle managers and executives (P <0.05). Conclusions: There was a significant correlation between managerial levels and strategic thinking among managers.
