Introduction: Intellectual capital is an intangible asset of an organization that is effective in creating the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation in the organization. The aim of the study was to determine the correlation between intellectual capital and entrepreneurship with the mediating role of organizational innovation in the staff of health and treatment centers affiliated to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.
Methods: The present study was descriptive-correlational. The study was conducted with 160 employees of health centers affiliated to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, who were selected by stratified random sampling. Data collection instruments include; demographic questionnaire, “Questionnaire Intellectual Capital”, “Organizational Entrepreneurship Questionnaire” and the “Climate for Innovation Questionnaire” (CIQ). The validity of the questionnaires was determined by the content and face method. Data are analyzed by SPSS.25 and SmartPLS 3.5 software.
Results: Intellectual capital with entrepreneurship with a regression coefficient of 0.27, critical ratio 655.64, innovation with entrepreneurship with a regression coefficient of 0.63 and a critical ratio of 0.92 and intellectual capital with innovation with a regression coefficient of 0.86, a critical ratio of 71.37 positive and significant correlation has it.
Conclusions: Intellectual capital is positively correlated with entrepreneurship and organizational innovation. It is recommended that policymakers and managers in the field of health take valuable steps to improve and make optimal use of this capital.
